(SV) Never going to see 400 pounds again.
I broke 400lb barrier for the last time.
I started losing weight in 2010 when I realized I was up to 366lb my JR year of college. I made it down to 275 by March of 2011 through regular daily cardio and CICO. Ever since then, however, it's been a slow climb upward for the last 7 years when I finally hit 425 in May of this year and realized I needed to make a change (after getting over the shame and embarrassment of putting on 150lbs).
This morning I broke the 400lb mark and it felt great to update my weight in my Excel tracking spreadsheet and Fitbit app by having to delete all 3 digits, instead of leaving the 4 and changing the last two digits (Going from 4XX to 3XX). I didn't think it would make me feel as good as I do considering I constantly beat myself up for letting myself get to this stage. I am excited to keep going though!
This reddit has been helpful in realizing there are lots of people who struggle with the same things and same ways I do. I have been finding lots of success with IF (20/4) 5-6 days per week and daily morning cardio. Also 8 Minute Abs (available on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWjTnBmCHTY) is a great daily ab workout. It's easy since all you need is a floor and you can work into the program as you get stronger and stronger.
