Original Lab work

I first started this project with the intention of getting prediet lab work. I ended up, for financial and time reasons, not getting all of them done. I started my diet changes in the beginning of December and will be using labs drawn on August 22nd as my baseline. My ab work is usually the same every time it gets drawn so I feel comfortable with using these one from 3 months ago. The problem is that these labs were drawn during an ER visit for severe LUQ pain and nausea. This may have changed some of the results a little but again most of these readings are consistent with previous draws. Glucose is definitely the exception as you will see below. In retrospect, I wish I would have gotten them drawn right before starting Keto but whatever. I would have added some others to the list.

Glucose 111 (Whoa! highly unusual for me)

BUN 25 (High but usually is)

Creatinine 1.19

GFR nAA 75

Sodium 140

Potassium 3.9

Calcium 9.0

Chloride 104

Protein 7.3

AST 37

ALT 50

Lipase 133

There’s some others on this list but this is all I think matters for right now. One thing that I thought they did was cholesterol but I can’t seem to find it. I may have to dig up an older one which kinda sucks. I’ve never really had an issue with LDL but my HDL is usually a little low. Triglycerides are normally good as well. At this moment, I’m most interested in the electrolytes and in the next post you will see why.
