how do i jog in public without feeling embarrassed?
i’m pretty big, and have always been looking to jog in public. recently, i’ve attempted doing so, but stopped after 5 steps as i noticed people looking in my direction. i just hung my head in shame and brisk walked throughout.
i really am ashamed of jogging in public, how do i overcome this fear? i often exercise - aka brisk walk - in my neighborhood in the late evening, around 8-9pm. there’s many joggers around at this time, and they’re really fit and in shape as to compared to me. i usually feel as if they’re judging me.
therefore, i’m asking for some advice here. am i the only one who feels embarrassed when exercising in public? how do i overcome this?
