Fitness tips post-surgery
I found out I’ll be having major surgery in two weeks to remove an ovarian cyst. This of course would mean that I have to stop heavy workouts to recover. For context, I follow Caroline Girvan on Youtube for strength training and try to skip and cycle.
While I know it’s unrealistic to return to ‘normal’ strength and energy levels right after my surgery, I’m wondering if anyone has experience of still being active post-surgery and any tips to keep fit during the time I have to put a pause on strength training or any rigorous exercise for the time being?
Would it be best to just skip working out altogether for the next 1-2 months and stick with healthy eating?
