How do you keep yourself motivated?

Hi all! I’m a long time lurker and first time poster, so here we gooo. (I’m 26F, approx. 95kg, 178cm)

My issue is that I cannot keep myself motivated to either eating healthy, or staying active/working out. I once was able to, but that was only because I was living together with my best friend who’s very enthusiastic about a healthy lifestyle, so I got sucked into that and I loved it. But for some reason, I cannot do that for myself. I’ll be maybe able to work out according to a schedule for 2 or 3 weeks, and then I just... don’t anymore.

Three years ago I was at the lowest I weighed in a very long time (85kg), but now I’m practically getting close to where I was before I lost that much weight. I’m slipping back into old habits and I hate it. It also doesn’t help that I’ve suffered from a burn out last year and my mental health took a hit from that, but i’m done with it. I’m done with excuses, I’m done with not being happy about myself and not doing an single thing about it but complain.

So please, enlighten me with your tactics!

What I’ve tried to do myself is making a schedule with some YouTube exercise videos, going for a walk around the block, bring in group chats with sporty friends of mine to motivate myself... but the barrier of discipline is just too much for lazy me to break.
