Lost less than a pound this week, slowed metabolism? Feeling down.
(20f)Hi all! I’ve been on my weight loss journey since late September and have lost over 20 pounds so far, with a pretty consistent weight loss of 1-2 lb a week even when eating out, generally eating around 1200-1500 kcals a day(tracking w MFP). I had a few weeks break over Xmas and gained about 2-3lb, which I lost again after a week or so of dieting - so I was back to the weight I was before Xmas. However, the weight loss since then has been incredibly slow. The past two weeks, I’ve barely lost 2lbs when I should have lost about 4. It has taken me over a week to lose 0.8 lbs. And I’m feeling a little bloated//usually I can feel if I’ve lost weight when I wake up, but I haven’t felt that at all recently. I’m very worried my metabolism has adjusted to about 1200 kcals. This week I ate around 1200-1300 every day due to the lack of weight loss last week. But it was even slower this week. I also gym every other day (not super hard workouts but getting a bit of sweat on and doing some weights). Just feeling down, frustrated and confused as to why my weight has barely gone down. Maybe it’s just been a fluke these past couple weeks but my weight has barely gone down the past month and I find it hard to believe My bmr is somehow 1200kcals as I’m 166cm tall and I workout every other day. I appreciate this is a massive vent but any advice or words would be appreciated.
