The 10 Principles by Kelly Clark - too good to be true?
This is the website: https://www.the10principles.com/blog/
About 8 years ago I lost 3 stone on the 5:2 diet but ended up with pretty bad disordered eating - I was stuck in a very typical binge restrict cycle for a good 5 years or so.
I then started to recognise my disordered eating (in fact it was after an OCD diagnosis that a therapist helped me to see how controlling eating can trigger OCD and vice versa) so I actively let go of food rules and diet culture. It took a while and while at the time it felt like I was piling on the pounds, in hindsight I wasn't - and I know that because I have now piled on the pounds 🤣
I'm 4 months postpartum and I'm currently 2+ stone higher than I was pre pregnancy (a bit of a ballpark figure as I didn't regularly weigh myself at all pre pregnancy).
I really don't want to get back into the binge restrict obsessive cycle I was in, so Kelly's approach (3 balanced meals a day) without counting calories feels like it would be good for me. But is it too good to be true?
I'm not in a rush to lose weight as I know to keep it off and to avoid getting back into diet culture ways I need to do it slowly. But I definitely need to shift this weight!

Anyone had any luck with losing weight without dieting?
