For people with menstrual cycles . ..

I have been trying to conceive the past few months which is a more stressful process than I was anticipating. In doing so, I have learned a LOT more about my cycle and I'm tracking all kinds of things my body does. But the most important thing I learned is how much our weight fluctuates during our cycle. I gained 5 pounds of water weight the day before I ovulated! I gained 3 pounds of water weight before my period! I was using Happy Scale and weighing myself every day and getting very frustrated that I wasn't seeing results. I saw something online to track your weight only on like cycle day 10 and cycle day 20 and only weigh yourself when you are not PMS/menstruating/ovulating because it's not accurate and it blew my mind. I just weighed myself today after stopping mid January because of ovulation frustration and I am losing weight. Just wanted to send a PSA with anyone else who might have crazy weight fluctuations.
