What would you say is the healthiest way to lose weight?
I know this sounds a bit weird because surely losing weight is healthy however you do it, right? Well no, I've learnt over the years that is definitely not the case.
I've starved myself
Used loads of pre workouts
Done all sorts of weird diets
Overtrained until i hurt myself
Etc etc etc
Many times I've been very successful over very short periods of time, but I'm now 37 years old and my mental health can't handle any of it. I lose the plot if I'm not looking after myself.
So I've decided to instead of focussing on losing weight, just to focus on being healthy. I want to feel good and i want my mental health to be better. Because these days, I can't handle life unless I feel good.
So I'm making some changes. Drinking more water, getting in the sauna, exercise (without overdoing it) and eating chicken and lots of veg.
So what I want to know from you guys is, what do you do to make sure you feel good? What helps your mental health? What foods do you eat? What foods do you avoid? Do you get massages? Do spas? Meditation???
I don't want to lose weight anymore, I want to feel amazing!! Losing the weight will just be a bonus :-)
