Women of Lose It, what can I expect to see around my cycle?

I’m just starting out in my journey. SW:253 CW:242 4 weeks in. I don’t have a goal weight, but I aiming to be under 200 by my 30th in August.

I started my journey after a particularly rubbish period and it was kinda the trigger to get me motivated. I’ve been tracking my calorie intake and increased my exercise to 4/5 times a week, usually a class at my local gym or a long walk.

I’ve read a lot on this sub about how women often see changes around their cycle, but not a great deal of detail and I’m a bit nervous about what to expect.

I know my motivation is a bit fragile right now, being at the very start of my journey and having attempted to lose weight previously and it not sticking. I’m trying to manage my expectations about what I may see happen and just want to hear from other women what their experience has been.
