Does anyone else change your weight loss goal as you get close to achieving your current goal?

I stared my weight loss journey a few months ago. The problem in the beginning was I was just watching what I ate and exercised daily. I didn’t even have a scale to track my progress.

That all changed about 6 weeks ago. I got a scale and started using a calorie tracker app. Since then, my starting weight was 187lbs (I’m 5’ 10”). I set my goal to 175lbs. I’ve since hit that goal (I’m just under 172lbs). I changed the goal to 170lbs a couple weeks ago, but now I changed it to 165lbs.

I’m obviously seeing results, but I think the problem is the way my body stores fat. My arms and legs have almost no noticeable fat on them; my chest and torso is where it’s all stored. I think if my fat was more evenly distributed I would probably be at a pretty good weight.

So I’m just curious if anyone else went through this during their weight loss.
