Incredibly frustrated
I lost about 15 pounds last semester with a pretty mediocre diet and virtually no working out. I just restricted my calories and walked a few times a week. This summer, I decided to start working out and making my food choices more carefully. This week, I've been doing HIIT workouts with some cardio mixed in on non-HIIT days. And I watched my diet carefully. And I somehow gained 4 pounds. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm not really looking for problem-solving right now, so spare me the "you're obviously just eating too much" lectures. Clearly I'm doing something wrong. I just want to know if anybody else has experienced weight gain when they start actually putting in effort.
