List of Low-Calorie Canadian Fast Food
First off, this list will be most useful to people that are operating on a 1400+ calorie deficit. And, if you really want to keep your calories down, I’d recommend packing some snackies too. Alright, now onto the good stuff.
TIM HORTONS Chicken Noodle Soup 120 cals. Not sure how large it is, but I’ve heard it’s good on a rainy day.
Potato Wedges 250 cals. Yummy. Caesar Salad with Dressing 310 cals. Personally, I’d rather get something else at a fast food place, but you do you.
Garden Salad 140 cals. Really good if you like veggies.
Avoid if you can - Timbits are 70cals each. If you want a sweet treat, go for a iced coffee with milk (70 cals) or a raspberry timbit for 45 cals.
DAIRY QUEEN Deluxe Cheeseburger is 450 calories. And, from what I’ve heard, it’s alright.
Side Salad is 25 calories. Please get something else with it, don’t starve yourself.
Chicken Strips are 350 for three.
Applesauce is sold there, for 50 calories. Makes a lovely side.
Poutine is 480, if you like it, but I’d rather have NYF than whatever they’re selling.
Avoid -Blizzards. They’re not that great, especially at 500+ calories.
- Fries. They suck here, and taste like dehydrated worm dicks.
-Pretzel Sticks are a waste of money, time and calories.
EDO JAPAN Kids Meals are all under 300, which leaves room for other goodies.
Avocado Rolls are 200 calories for 6 and they’re legit. But you won’t be able to buy a house if you get them, so choose carefully.
Tuna Rolls are also 200, but not as good as the Avocado ones.
BOSTON PIZZA Not really fast food, but I thought I should include BP’s here.
Garden Salad for 120 calories. Honestly, BP’s is so unhealthy, I would treat it as a cheat day. But, if you got this and some skewers (170) it’d be pretty filling and leave room for dessert.
NY Striploin Steak I don’t eat meat, so my opinion on this is limited, but for 560 calories it’s not that bad.
Avoid the alfredo and anything else that sounds calorific (Pizzaghetti). Unless you want it!
If you have any other suggestions for restaurants, please tell me. Also, these are lower in calories, mostly because I’m a grazer and prefer to eat smaller meals.
