How do you lose weight with a partner?
I won't go into the whole saga, but I lost a ton of weight and have yo yo'd since then. I always regain when I'm in a relationship. One minute we're going on a couple of dates, then fast forward a year later and i'm up 30 lbs, Then, when it ends, I lose again. I'm finally with someone who I think I'll be with forever, but it's REALLY hard to lose the weight. It's like every day is a happy celebration with beers and delicious food. He will eat relatively well with me, but when it comes time for the weekend, it all goes out the door. Also, it's like I switch into a mindset of "we have to eat dinner tonight and it has to be a production" and I'm more prone to "treat myself" cause I wanna go out on dates and do stuff together (like I never just went and got ice cream during the week, but now that I have someone to do it with, it happens more often). Does anyone else do this?? It's like a weird adjustment where I just want to treat myself constantly when I'm in a relationship. I want to change but it's harder to make time for myself and do what I need to do when I'm with someone. Thoughts??
