[RANT] I'm so sick of father-in-law making my victories feel like nothing.
So I've been trying to lose weight through some dieting and running. I was doing great using the app couch to 5k, but then I moved into my wife's home with her parents while I'm finishing up my degree in school. Well her parents are healthy people that work out three days a week.
After living at this home for a while I've lost all motivation. They just make my victories feel so small and miniscule. For example, I would say I was able to run a half mile without stopping! A very big accomplishment for me, and her father would counter with "I ran 3 miles this morning." It makes my victories feel so small and not mean anything. I've lost all motivation. I used to love to share my runs on snapchat or on Instagram, but now I just feel embarrassed and in result haven't ran in a long time. Any encouragement?
