SV!!! My weight hasn't been this low in 6 years
SW 241.8 | CW 229.2 | GW 165 | 32M
Today I hopped on the scale and saw a number lower than 230. I haven't been below this weight in more than 6 years.
The last time I was under 230 I was rock climbing and having a lot of active fun. I feel really good.
This most recent chapter in my weight loss journey started 17 days ago, and I've been following a pretty strict protocol of OMAD and keeping my calories under 1,800 per day.
It works for now. I don't know how long I will stick with it, but I feel like I'm proving to myself that I can be very disciplined at least in the short run in pursuit of my goals.
This hasn't been too mentally taxing - it helps during the week that I am pretty busy with work - either grinding through a bunch of "stuff" or mentally occupying myself trying to tease apart analytical problems that I am not thinking about food.
My plan for once I hit goal or if I run out of steam is to eat closer to 1,800/maintenance. For now, and I realize that there are both SVs and NSVs, I'm going to celebrate both. It's nice to see the number on the scale move. It's not everything - that shirt I bought forever ago at H&M - it doesn't gap at the buttons now when I try to wear it.
I'm feeling good about how I look. I'm feeling good for the first time in a long time.
Cheers to everyone here on their journey - I wanted to share this because I'm having a good day and I hope that everyone else is as well!
