Choc Zero Chocolate Syrup Review

Over Labor Day I took advantage of a sale from Choc Zero and I picked up some chocolate and some syrup. I have had their chocolate before, which I really like. You can read my reviews Choc Zero Bark Review and Choc Zero Dark Chocolate Almond with Sea Salt Review.

I have never had their syrup before and decided to try some. I bought Honest Syrup, Chocolate Sauce, ChocZero’s Maple Syrup and ChocZero’s Caramel Sugar-Free Syrup

I made Keto Chocolate Flaxseed Waffles as part of my breakfast and decided to use the Honest Syrup, Chocolate Sauce on my waffles. The bottle claims its the thickest sugar free syrup on the market and that is no joke. This stuff is thick, like almost nutella-thick. Its a little hard to get out of the squeeze bottle and just a tad too thick in my opinion.

It has a very good chocolate flavor, much like Hershey’s chocolate syrup but you can tell that it is sugar free. I have been off sugar long enough that most sugar-free flavors do not bother me at all. This really does not have much of an aftertaste.

Since it is thicker it was a little hard to spread over my waffles. But since I am off dairy for awhile I had to have something over the top of my waffles and this fit the bill well.

Fat: 0 grams

Carbs: 15 grams

Fiber: 14 grams

Sugar: 0 grams

Protein: 0 grams

This products does not use sugar alcohol, it relies on monk fruit for sweetness.

Overall its a decent product, not keto but low carb for sure. Its a tad too thick but certainly useable. I will be reviewing their other syrups as I use them.
