NSV: I finally fit into a M sized lab coat!

I started my weightloss journey back on October 1st. I've lost about 30 lbs so far with just basic CICO. I also cut out pop and snacking.

I knew objectively that I was making progress but sometimes it's so hard to see it on yourself. Plus, I'm so goal focused that each time I've reached a set goal, I celebrate for a minute then immediately started visualizing my next goal.

Well today I finally hit a goal that I never thought I would reach. I work in a medical lab and we are required to wear lab coats which are provided for us. We are allowed a new lab coat every 2 weeks or if our current coat gets dirty. Before I started losing weight I was an XL who wore an L due to denial (couldn't button all the buttons on my L).

I statted losing weight and eventually started fitting comfortably in the L lab coats. Slowly, the L's got baggier and baggier. Since mid November, I started trying on M's each time a grabbed a new coat. They never fit so I wore the L's.

I had a long weekend off and when I went in to work today, I grabbed a new M to try on and it fit! I was able to button it up comfortably! I was so shocked, I immediately took the coat off to double check the size and sure enough it was an M!

I feel like I'm finally seeing all of my hard work pay off!
