... there’s always a comment asking “wow! How did you do it??”
The answer from OP, without fail, is something along the lines of “calorie counting, eating healthier foods so I feel fuller from fewer calories, and exercising.” Whether it’s simple CICO, one meal a day or fasting, the bottom line is always the same: maintaining a deficit.
As someone who’s just started out in earnest, I just want to say how reassuring and exciting that is. Because there is no miracle cure for losing weight, but there’s also no mysterious secret to it. That’s pretty cool. I’m excited for my journey and I just wanted to share this after browsing this sub and similar ones.
