I'm 18, over 300 pounds, I sit at a desk at school, work, and home all day. It's time to fix this.
Tomorrow I'm going right up to my office building manager's, uh, office and I'm asking for access to the building's gym. Every day at 5PM when I'd normally go home, I will instead change my clothes, go to the gym, hop on a treadmill and run/walk until I can't anymore, then I'm going home. The next day, same Bat-Time, same Bat-Place, I'm getting on that treadmill again.
I've already cut down on a lot of my food, so I don't think much adjustment will be required there. I eat a chicken sandwich and a carton of chocolate skim milk for lunch everyday and a bowl or plate of whatever my mom gives me at home. I eat probably 1200-1600 calories a day, I just need to burn it off. Maybe I'll try fasting.
It's time to start working on my health instead of hoping circumstance will work it all out for me. Sorry if this post breaks any rules or anything, but I feel like voicing my goals to strangers is more likely to get me off my ass than wishing I could muster up the gusto to start losing weight.
