I’ve lost 6 lbs since January 1st!

On the first of the year, I decided to change my life around. I have been steadily gaining weight since my sophomore year of high school in 2012. I went from a size 5, to a size 18/20. From 115 lbs, to 247. I am happy to say that I stepped on the scale this morning and I am 241 lbs! It may be small progress, but it means a lot to me because I have NEVER stuck to a diet for more than a week. I have NEVER held myself accountable. I have NEVER weighed myself daily or weekly. I have NEVER kept such close track of my weight and how my food intake immediately affects it. I have NEVER experienced progress.

I know it is probably only coming off this fast due to the shock to my body. It’s probably saying “what the fuck is all this healthy shit”. I’m so excited to see even more progress and to start seeing physical changes. The validation of fitting into a smaller size that I haven’t worn in a year will be so fantastic. I plan on posting more and more since this is sort of like a digital journal for me and a place where I can openly talk about it to other people without it being too personal. I am more open with what I eat and my actual weight. I will update again once I reach 227, by then I will have lost 20 lbs.
