Getting started
I am at the end of a big transition (moving back home after living as an expat for 5 years, looking for a new job, savings depleted and starting over financially, etc.). I have been indulging as I want to have my favorites before leaving, but my body and mind are over it and I am READY for my change.
My 35th bday is in August, and my goal is to be 95 kg. I am currently around 103, my highest was when I 131 (around 290 lbs) and my lowest was 95. Ultimately, by the end of the year I would like to be around 89 (out of the 200s for the first time in my adult life). It is not all about weight, I want to be healthy mentally and physically- that is my main motivation.
My main changes have to revolve around food as I am a very active person and tend to walk at least 3-5 miles a day, but I eat when stressed, bored, happy, and drink way too much.
Looking forward to checking in and giving/getting support as getting healthy and feeling more connected to my body is my number one goal.
Any suggestions for food tracking applications or in general for people who have been able to lose and keep off a significant amount of weight? I am trying to not have an all or nothing attitude on this journey as I tend to be quite negative and if I mess up at all, it can cause me to spiral.
