How to stop binge eating as a coping mechanism?
Any advice for coping with this? Honestly feel like I'm stuck in a shit situation with work/study/my own wellbeing and lack of social skills (Currently seeking help for anxiety), and I've just been turning to food as a coping mechanism and just making my life worse, esp if something bad or stressful in particular happens. I exercise, but still manage to be eating too much that I'm putting on weight. I still try to go for healthy meals (e.g. veggies + lentils or beans for lunches, fruit and tofu or eggs for breakfast, parents choose dinners but make relatively healthy stuff most the time). But I binge on crap like cereals, chocolate, breads, cheese ect. Don't know the exact numbers as too scared, but definitely above the 25 BMI mark now, and have stretched or broken some of my old size medium clothes.
