I joined a gym and I absolutely love it!
I’m started to do minor diet changes when I reached my max weight I’ve been to. I was 275, and most of my hobbies include, video games, wood burning, driving, guitar. All things where I sit. And I wanted to change. So I switched some things out of my diet, like no more snacks unless it’s fruit( I love watermelon yo!) drinking water, or zero calorie iced tea becuase water gets too boring. I’d rather drink than eat. So I managed to lose like 18 lbs and I finally joined planet fitness to start my journey with going to the gym. And I love it, I love being sore from lifting. I still feel kinda clueless when I’m there but I try to work out similar areas when I go there. Like arms, or abs, or legs.
Before I joined I used to think I would dread going to the gym, like “ugh who would want to be sweaty and struggle around for an hour and 45 mins like wtf?”
And now I can’t wait to go back. The time actually flies by, I feel like I’m accomplishing something, I feel better, and I know I will eventually look better. I don’t look terrible for my weight but it has discouraged me a little bit. Since going I have gone back up in weight, while I’m eating less sill. I’m currently 264 as of this morning.
I plan on going to the gym 4 times a week everother day. Tonight will be night 3 for me.
So if you’re someone out there who knows they need to go to the gym, but are just dreading it like I did, just go, ( I went late at night my first time becuase I was scared I’d embarrass myself, and there wouldn’t be anyone) it’s not as bad as it sounds , and it’s actually enjoyable!
