Share your 'skinny shaming' stories!
I had one just recently. Now, I am a fatty, but I'm trying to do better, recently got on anti-depressants.
I'm at work during a hectic week and a new young girl bring a bunch of little lollies (they are actually quite small) to me saying 'do you want some, to keep your energy up'. I have a look say 'ooh' and pick one out of like 15, look at her happy with my choice and says 'ugh seriously' like my choice to take one offended her plump self and pushes like 5 more in front of me, and heads off. I turn to the other young girl working with me and randomly dump all but my one lolly in her hands saying 'here have some lollies' and got a happy 'ooh lollies', which was adorable.
So that's my skinny shaming story.
Tl;dr: fat young girl tries to give my fat self lollies, says 'ugh seriously' when I take one and dumps more in front of me. I give them to an appreciate young girl instead - all except my one.
