Slow and steady wins this race
Something clicked in my head today. I've lost weight a few times in my life and there's a pattern. When I try to rush by starving myself, I lose weight extra fast. Then I gain it back plus some. Why? Because I become a ravenous beast.
When I take my time and eat no less than 1200 and walk at least 2 miles, I lose weight and keep it off. I don't need to do any strength but I do because I feel good. And that's another thing: I feel good when I exercise.
What sparked this was that I lost .2 lbs this morning and I was like "I'm eating 800, straight up". I made a whole plan and everything then I did the math. If I kept losing a "petty" .2 lbs everyday then I'd reach my goal by this time next year. A 700 calorie deficit every day. That's it. That's easy!! I can do better than that. I can do 1000 easily because of my size.
So I'm not going to starve myself anymore. I'm ready for a change. I did great today and I'll be happy if I see the scale go down by .2 lbs again tomorrow.
