Does drinking a lot of water help lose weight?
Just for some backstory, I’m about 10lbs or so overweight and I’d like to be in the lower to medium range of a healthy weight. I’ve been thinking of trying to drink a lot of water, maybe like a gallon a day. How much would that help me?
Also I’m 16 so I know my weight is going to change and fluctuate but I’m trying to be able to look at my body and not feel the way I do about it now. I’ve been trying to lose weight for some months now but I haven’t gotten very far.
I tried keto back at the end of last year or so and lost a good 10lbs and it’s stayed off, but been stuck here since. I don’t even eat that much and I’ve been trying to incorporate healthier foods into my meals. I go on pretty lengthy hikes (4-9mi depending on the day) at least once a week (it’s been about twice now) and probably could exercise more but it’s hard with all of this virus shit going on. I hope to get some walks in at least on the days I’m not hiking.
Sorry for all of the unnecessary backstory, just answer the title question if you can? Just how much would drinking about a gallon of water or so be able to help me lose weight?
