I (m24) regressed big time but it’s time to bounce back.

Hey everyone, today was a shocker for me as I stepped on the scale.

First a little background. I grew up struggling with weight. 4 years ago, I decided to make a change with my life. I started at 5’7” and 266 lbs. Over that following year I dropped down to 205 lbs. I would go to the gym every morning and switched to a plant based diet and it just worked.

After graduating undergrad, I pursued grad school. I stoped focusing on my health as I did but hovered around 215 which I was fine with.

After grad school I started my corporate job which I love. The only thing this is that the hours get pretty tough for half the year. As such, I stoped going to the gym and ate out more. I caught myself at 225 back in feb and started to get in the routine of going to the gym every other day bc I wasn’t happy with how I had become. Then Covid-19 hit. I tried going for walks but there were still a lot of people out so I stopped. I weighed my self today and came in 235.

Here it is folks. I undid all my hard work. Although it’s not gonna be easy starting out now in the middle of a pandemic, I can start with what I can control; what I eat. I’m extremely disappointed in myself but it is what it is. All I can do now is work to improve myself.
