I have hit a new high and need to make a change. I’m 23 and very self-conscious. I worry if I don’t change now I’m going to keep getting bigger and miss out on life. I want to feel young at least once, while I still am.

I’ve tried in the past and can’t make it past a month. I was even doing well during the start of the quarantine-but I have since gained that weight back. I go through a cycle of really caring for a month, giving in, and just being miserable for two months before trying again. It’s not healthy and I know I need a change.

The problem is-I have no self control. I’ve always wanted to go on a thru hike and have actually thought about just going -that way I’d have no choice but to keep on moving. However, apparently it’s really late in the season for that - and I’m a little nervous to go alone. So I’ve decided to try and get into a bit better of shape to go next year instead. The problem is keeping motivated at home.

My aunt lost about 100lbs from going on an shake diet in the 90s-the company is no longer around though. I know this is probably not the “way” to loose it, as it doesn’t help with food portion. But I know myself and my know that I need to completely clear out my house in order to start. I’ll binge eat spinach if I get into a mood. I’m thinking about doing shakes for two meals a day and then doing a salads or vegetables for dinner. At least for the first month. Is there any shake that someone can suggest? Thank you for any advice
