Mental imagery for motivation

Take a deep breath. Exhale.

Take one more deep breath. Exhale.

Now place your right hand on your belly and your left hand on your chest.

Imagine for a moment that you have gained weight. Your belly is larger and squishier. Your chest is bigger and softer.

Walking is harder and you are shorter on breath. You look tired, and sweaty. You look in the mirror and your face is puffier.

Now . . . Reset. That is not you. You are back to yourself again.

Picture yourself leaner. Your belly is smaller and harder. Your muscles are more defined.

You feel amazing and have a lot of energy. You look in the mirror and, damn! You're hot! You can actually see some muscle, and your face is so lean and good looking!

**

Now . . . what are you going to have for a bedtime snack tonight? The usual feast of bullshit? Or maybe a small bowl of yogurt?
