New to Keto and Struggling to Make Delicious Coffee
Before going keto I was using Laird Superfood creamer and a little turbinado cane sugar in my coffee.
Now, I’m using Coffee Booster (“a top quality blend of grass fed ghee, virgin coconut oil, and cacao powder”) and mixing it with my coffee in a blender. I added a bit of cinnamon and that was decent, but not great. I also tried blending it with some Nutpods dairy free creamer or almond milk, and it is still meh. I haven’t tried heavy cream yet.
I can’t seem to stomach monk drops or liquid stevia, I really hate the taste and I end up getting a stomach ache or feeling weird even when using just a couple of drops. Is there anything else I can do to “sweeten” the coffee? Is stevia in the raw a bit better flavor maybe? Any ideas are appreciated!
