How did you know when to stop?

Super excited that I’m now 2.8 lbs away from my goal after dropping around 20 over the past 6 months. This is the first time I’ve ever been successful at losing weight more than a 5 pound rollercoaster and I’m super pleased, I owe it all to the folks at r/volumeeating haha. However, though I do see a visible difference I can’t help but think I could go lower and change my final goal to a lower weight. This worries me a bit though because it reminds me of those stereotypical ED stories of people who look in the mirror and see some twisted reflection of someone much larger than they actually are. How did you guys know when to transition to maintenance? Anyone change their goal weight as they neared it?
