Low Carb Hot Chocolate Recipe
Being that I am currently back on Keto, I wanted to share with you all one of my recipes. With the cold weather approaching and the holiday season, nothing hits home like a nice cup of hot chocolate. Just 5 simple ingredients and, even if you are not following a Keto/Low Carb Diet, you can enjoy a this healthier holiday beverage.
- 12 oz of Almond Milk
- 3 oz of Coconut Cream (In the can)
- 12g of 100% Cacao Powder
- 2 Tbsp of Stevia
- Dash of cinnamon
- Optional: 1 tsp of your favorite extract (vanilla, almond, etc)
If you are not too concerned with dairy, if you cannot find coconut cream, heavy whipping cream can be used instead.
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for about 30 seconds. Pour mixture into your favorite coffee mug and place in microwave for about 3 minutes.
