I am struggling so much with covid weight gain... can you guys help me make a plan?
Hi all, and thanks in advance for reading my struggles!
24, F, 5'4, 72kg here.
I gained 12kg since the beginning of the year and I don't know how to stop/reverse this. I believe the emotional eating/binging was due to a breakup and feeling anxious about COVID. I have always been pretty into fitness and even picked up running when lockdown started (I ran a few half marathon's last year too!)
I understand the concept of CICO, and I know consistency is king, but I am just feeling so lost on where to dive in, and stick to it. Its also worth mentioning I had an eating disorder/body dysmorphia in my youth and getting too exact seems to psych me out and make me just toss away any logic. Could anyone put together a simple fitness/eating plan for me? I'd love to just lose that weight I gained, hopefully throughout the summer, 2-3kg a month.
