Day 8 - One Week Down : Sharing for Accountability
Stats: 30F, 5' 2", SW: 215lbs CW: 208.8lbs GW: 130lbs
I had an okay week that ended on a high note. I had a day with horrible depression and just vegetated and sadly ate way more than I should have. The day before I felt it just permeating in me so I made sure to eat a little below my goal because when the fog settles in I know it can get ugly. I did not eat as much as I used to when all that hits me though so that is a major win in my book.
I got my Garmin Forerunner 45S on Thursday evening and walked about 5k steps before I went to bed. And have met my goal of 10k+ steps on Friday and Saturday. Plan to do the same today. I love this thing.
My husband and I also went to a party yesterday with way more people than I am normally comfortable being around at one time and while my Garmin tracked every anxiety attack to the heartbeat I worked through them and talked and had fun. I didn't drink. I didn't smoke, but I quit years ago and as much as I crave it sometimes I know I don't want to ever again. But best of all I didn't overeat, plus we all went swimming for a couple of hours after the sun went down and most everyone else left.
Here is to another week of doing better, not perfect. Good luck to everyone else!
