Didn't lose weight but body fat percentage decreased?
Hi Loseit, I am a 21 year old male, I weigh 77.2kg and I am 180cm tall. I have been trying to get myself into shape and around 3 weeks ago I started a diet.
Last week I weighed myself and I was 77.2kg. I measured my waist and it was 87cm and my neck was 37cm. When I used an online calculator it said I was 18.4% body fat.
I have been eating 2000 calories everyday (a 700 calorie deficit) and I walk 5km everyday and workout for 1 hoir 5 days a week.
Today I weighed myself (same time as last week) and I am still the same 77.2kg for some reason. I measured my waist and neck again and this time it said I am 83cm and 37cm respectively. When I put the data into the calculator it said I am now 15.3% body fat. I am a bit confused how I didn't lose weight because I have honestly been eating 2000 calories everyday. Does anyone know what happened?
