Slow progress is still progress
I (29F, CW: 222, SW:269, GW: 150) over the past year have fluctuated with diet and exercise. June of 2020 I hit 269 which is the heaviest I've ever been. I started working out some, losing 20lb by September then lost steam in the fall and stopped working out as much. But I kept eating healthier and not ordering takeout. I wasn't checking my weight over the winter then weighed myself in May and I was down 10 more pounds with diet alone. Since then I've been inconsistently working out but I've been eating healthier with more veggies in my diet and I'm down to my current weight of 222. I have a ways to go and I often get discouraged because the numbers are going down slowly but I also think I'm making changes to my lifestyle and eating habits that will be a routine part of my life now. It's been slow which is frustrating but I just wanted to share cause I had a moment of feeling proud of my progress so far.
