20 lbs down and stuck: Are my weekends sabotaging me?
Over the past few years, I had gained weight due to depression and then quarantine/COVID (I just became increasingly less active). I am down 20 lbs, but the scale seems stuck. I plug everything I eat into MFP Monday-Thursday and what I eat during that time is generally healthy. I then eat intuitively on the weekend (FRI, SAT, SUN). On the weekends, I still eat foods I enjoy but small portions — and I don’t really snack between meals. I try to move in some way, shape, form every day. I seem to have plateaued for the past few weeks. I’m not gaining, but I’m also not losing.
Are my weekends of intuitive eating ruining my progress somehow? Am I really never meant to enjoy a few slices of pizza again? Lol.
