Can I (F18) eat junk daily and still lose fat?
Not junk as in replacing meals with McDonald's, more like just pure sugar, like 300 to 450 cals of ice cream or chocolate, while eating otherwise healthy (sweet potatoes, eggs, avocado, lean meats). My calorie intake depends entirely on the day, it goes from 1300 on a rest day to 2000 on a weight lifting day to 900 . My goal is to basically replace my fat with muscle.
However I just have lots of trouble maintaining energy without junk sugar. If I have an ice cream I can easily spend 45mn+ torturing my quads and glutes. I did that yesterday without eating anything else than healthy stuff... Totally destroyed me, I had no energy during the second half of my workout. Without my coffee and sugary snack I can't do anything.
Is it okay to have sugar daily if I compensate with workout and otherwise healthy stuff? If that matters when it comes to the amount I should have, I'm 5'7 and 130 to 133lbs, go to the gym 3-4 times a week, and walk one to two hours daily.
