Feeling yourself getting stronger at the gym is a great feeling...
Today marks my 2nd week at the gym and I noticed how easily I was able to get through some of the exercises which utterly decimated me for the first few days. Like I like to do a 15 minute run on the treadmill and for the first week, I broke the run up with some walking segments because my feet would just start hurting too much after a bit. Today, I ran the whole 15 minutes without an issue.
Similarly with other exercises like push ups, planking and crunches. I could do like 5 push ups before needing to take a breath, now it's up to 15. I've been able to lift heavier weights too, and don't feel nearly as exhausted with the weights I initially started with (3KG dumbbells for each hand). The walk back home from the gym also used to be a nightmare because I was exhausted. Now I still feel like I have some energy to spare. Still a ways to go surely, but feeling myself building stamina is a great feeling.
