Extremely high body fat and losing hope.
Hi I am new here. For context, I am 32, 4'11 and weigh 154 lbs. I gained most of my excess weight some 4 years back when I weighed 121 lbs and got on a certain type of medication. I got off the medication a year later, but the excess weight stayed on. I started on a steady exercise regimen about a year back. This meant 45 mins of training 3 days a week. Through this time, I lost no weight but I could feel my stamina rising and I felt somewhat stronger. It was extremely demotivating to not lose any weight, but after a time I convinced myself to cherish the fact that my body is atleast learning to move.
Cut to last week, I got full body analytics done and discovered I have 45 percent body fat. My plantar fasciitis makes it very hard for me to run or do anything that involves bouncing on my feet. I am prone to high anxiety and have regular stomach problems, which usually upsets my attempts at dieting. I have been sitting with the report for three days now and feel absolutely hopeless. I have 21 percent muscle mass and can now see that I have made no progress in all this time. Despite trying hard and pushing myself. I do not know how to proceed from here.
