Need help encouraging my sister to lose weight
A bit of backstory, my sister used to weight less than than what I weight now 3 years ago. Ever since the covid lockdowns she has been eating a lot takeout and not going out and exercising as much as she used to. I remember two years ago she looked and weighed the same as I do now, I am currently in the 150's and steadily reaching my goal of 130 through dieting and exercise. When I last saw her this Thanksgiving she has visibly gained a lot of weight (big beer belly and thick thighs) and has a double chin now. I did not want to say anything because I didn't know what to say that wouldn't hurt her feelings or come off as overly rude. However, after seeing her this Thanksgiving I am really worried now about her health and her ability to keep up with her students and peers since she is a teacher. Is there anything I can do to encourage my sister to start losing weight without coming off as insensitive or rude?
