Is it okay to skip rest days/active recovery days if you have a desk job?

I am currently doing 45 minutes to an hour of HIIT/weight resistance training 5 days a week and tennis on the other two days. I know they are both quite intense sports and I have gone from doing not much to a lot, but it makes me feel good if I workout everyday. Is it okay to do this and not have a day of resting/doing light excersize if I have a desk job? I am sitting down for 8 hours a day so surely that gives my body the physical rest it needs. Do you think there is any chance this might hinder my progress? I am achy but a normal amount and I feel great mentally and overall! I am also eating 1500 calories a day which is a deficit but not a huge one.
