I am gaining weight and it makes no sense
I’ve been in a calorie deficit, and yes I know that if I’m gaining weight that means I’m not in a calorie deficit, but I am a 6 foot 215 lb man and I consume 1800 calories a day + do a shit ton of cardio. I was losing weight for the first month. I went from 215 lbs to 209 lbs and all of a sudden the past 3 days my weight has been at 214 lbs. I am so confused how. On Friday I went out and had alcohol which I all tracked and I went over my 1800, I hit 2200 that day which is a bit below my maintenance considering I hit 15 k steps a day. And the next day I weighed in I was 215 lbs. I figured it was just water weight but then on Sunday I was 215 lbs and when I weighed myself today I am 214 lbs. How is it possible that I picked up 5 lbs when I was never in a surplus this makes no sense. There is no way the water weight would hold on for this long right? And there is no way it would weight 5 pounds. Maybe I’m just being dramatic but I’m just so confused right now.
