36 lbs down. 238 lbs to 202 lbs Progress Pics [21M, 5’ 11”, SW: 238, CW: 202, GW: 180]

Hello everyone, I’ve been following the loseit community for some time now and it’s been great as it kept me on track for my diet and workouts. So I thought I would talk about my progress.

I’ve gone from 238lbs (108kg) to 202lbs (92kg). Here are the progress pictures: Progress Pics

Although the first picture is from March 29th, I didn’t start my weight loss journey until May (couldn’t find pictures from May), however my weight was still relatively the same, if not, more.

May: I started by eating less calories than my maintenance level and going to the gym daily for cardio. I made a commitment to go to the gym everyday (or at least tried to) even if I was only going to walk/jog for 15minutes.

June: I continued going to the gym daily, however I added strength training by doing full body workouts on top of my 15-20 minutes of cardio. I also planned out my meals and did Intermittent Fasting.

July: continued doing the same as June. This is when I first started to notice major differences in strength. For example, I was curling 30lb dumbbells, while in June I was able to curl 20lb dumbbells.

August so far: I’m trying my best to keep at it, but it’s been kind of difficult as I have had to travel a lot so far, and will be travelling to Europe for vacation and I know it will be hard to keep a clean diet. Still going to the gym daily, but now I will usually have one cheat meal every week.

I’m not done yet as I still have about 22 lbs to go until I reach my goal weight of 180 lbs.
