Hot take: "never skip a meal" is not true.
We all got that piece of advice. "Breakfast is important", "never skip a meal", and a dozen variations of that theme.
And in my personal, not-professional experience: this might work if you have no clear hunger signals. But if your body tells you "nah, not hungry right now"? Then listen. You don't want to have a meal right now, then don't have a meal. This is normal, and completely fine.
