A question: If I eat more than I need daily and decide to start eating only when I'm hungry, will there be problems with my metabolism?
Note; I feel very little hungry and I believe that the excess weight, as in most cases, is due to this habit of mine. I once woke up at 06:00 AM, only drank water and didn't feel hungry even 6 hours later when I forced myself to eat.
I am a female, 1.70cm tall and weight 154lb. The most I was able to reach was 141lb, but I think most of it was just water.
I end up taking my anxiety/boredom out on food and I can only feel satisfied when I feel like my belly is on edge. This habit has been eating away at me for a long time, I try everything to get out of this horrible cycle, but always without success. But I think that gradually understanding that you don't need willpower (sometimes all I want to do is sink into the well and feel the worst possible way), I want me to do it in a way that sounds normal to me (because many can control themselves and I can't?).
I found this sub and seeing that many go through the same difficulty as me is very welcoming..
