Kind of at a loss with expectations
So where to begin, oh that’s right from the start. Well last year with the birth of my daughter I wanted to get into be active to be able to keep up with a child. I started a weight lifting program( 3x5 3x a week and moved to Allpros 2x8-12 after having recovery issues). Well I’ve been doing this well over a year with maybe 3 refeed/cheat days in total. I use cronometer and track everything in grams. Went from 305lbs to 195lbs in this duration. However the aesthetic looks I’ve been hoping/wanted are not there. I look more like a floppy sack of potato’s and went through various strength shifts. Diet was keto along with “almost Omad” which is basically a fast breaking small meal of protein and a little fat and 1-2 hours later get the rest of my calories. Regardless of my efforts muscle has been a factor in which I was looking to gain along with substantial body fat loss. I’ve looked at YouTube videos, instagrams reels etc and I’ve seen all these Amazing transformations with less time and around the same level of bf% with far better results. It’s just a downer to see this and it’s like wtf am I doing wrong?
