really need some help. (gym beginner)

I am 17f, currently at 80 kgs (5'5) and want to loose the extra fat so i joined the gym a few days back without much research and now I am fucking confused. I don't really know where to start, how to loose weight and the proper exercises. I looked up so many yt videos but it just made me more confusd... What I do know is, that I have to do strength training with cardio once or twice a week, but the gym trainer is FORCING me to get a personal trainer(maybe because I am child they think it's easy money) , and i cannot afford one, also I want to loose weight on my own... Since the past 7 days i have been doing cardio (mostly HIIT) and i am so bored, i can easily do all those exercises at home. I am also very shy, so i don't know how to approach other people in the gym for advice. A cousin of mine gave me a gym routine to follow but I feel so anxious to even ask the trainers on how to do it and if they could check my form so i end up not doing it. Whenever I ask them if they could help me out, they just give me cardio exercises to do, and no weight training. Ps- yes i am on a calorie deficit diet
