Question about Allen Carr's Eay Way to Quit Emotional Eating
I love Allen Carr. I have quit 2 things by using his method and I'm still amazed by how easy it was. So when I saw his book on emotional eating, I was really excited. Last few weeks, my eating has been really well actually, but excessive stress sometimes gets me into binge mode which I can oblige in.
So Im 20% into this book, and he is still using the method of if you want to quit, go cold turkey. The problem is, he is including starchy carbs. I am 100% okay with giving up packaged junk food. But never eating bread, rice again? As a student and a person who does bodybuilding, my diet always includes these things. And I of course want to be able to eat a birthday cake on my birthday.
Do I really need to go cold turkey on all these things for the book to work? What is your take on it? Am I just coping lol?
